The Wonderful Web

Well guys, I actually made it to San Francisco! A few posts about the trip, the conference and the incredible people I get to work with will be coming up soon! For now, here are the links!! This is a pretty good week, if I do say so myself.

-this wonderful post on nay-sayers. Boy do I relate!!

thoughts on introverts-sometimes I think I’m a lot more introverted than I let on.

-Rick Steve’s has some great thoughts on airport security. I’m a seasoned traveler and can whip my way through security with the million mile travelers like no other, but even still, security these days is just excessive.

-Leaving college to go to 25 hour workweek?? I think yes!

-And another one on our 40 hour workweeks and how that leaves us starved for free-time All of America’s well-publicized problems, including obesity, depression, pollution and corruption are what it costs to create and sustain a trillion-dollar economy. For the economy to be “healthy,” America has to remain unhealthy. Healthy, happy people don’t feel like they need much they don’t already have, and that means they don’t buy a lot of junk, don’t need to be entertained as much, and they don’t end up watching a lot of commercials.

mini donuts…need I say more?

life without Facebook. I find that so appealing, but I don’t think my parents would really appreciate the gesture.

-the truth to a perfect wedding. Lovely.

the benefits of standing and moving.

Reading: The Painted Lady by Elizabeth Hickey (still…it’s great, but not a lot of books take me so long to get through!)

Listening: my Colbie Caillat Pandora station…mostly cause I’ve spent so much time in the Crescent office and that’s what we have playing all the time. Gotta love it!
